As the lazy days of Summer draw to an end, it leads me to think – Who the heck coined the term “Lazy Days of Summer??”
Every where you look, people seem to be scrambling about taking care of their last minute “To Do” list that seems to be growing by the second. Things like…
Scheduling last minute doctor appointments for the kids before school starts!
(BTW, we’ve added more appointments to our schedule to help you with this so call Clarke EyeCare @ 9406915645 to schedule an eye exam for you or your kiddos!)
Searching the aisles of the store looking for a crazy, very specific list of school supplies!
Replacing all the jeans and shoes that you JUST realized your kid outgrew over the summer!
All of this running around can distract us from the reality of what it happening – our babies are growing up!
This reality often crashes down around us on the first day of school. Whether your kids are starting kindergarten or their senior year of high school, take this word of advice: Slow down, take a deep breath, and soak in all the chaos. While you think you can’t wait for some peace and quiet, it’ll all be over with too soon.
One day you’ll look back on these crazy (not lazy) days of Summer with wistful sigh a huge smile on your face! Someday…but for now, a new problem has popped up! Your daughter just declared that, as a 5th grader, she is old enough to wear full makeup to school and she has enough mascara on to be confused for a Kardashian!!!
On Monday, August 17th we are opening early to accommodate people who have not been able to get in because of our very full schedule. Space is limited so call quickly to schedule – 9406915645!
